Hi Friends, I've had this guestbook turned off for the past few months because I was being bombarded with spam. Let's see if we can get around that for awhile. Thanks for your kind entries - drop a line and let me know you've visited! Thanks, T
The CD release party for "Beauty in Paradise" this past Friday, at Cefalo's in Carnegie, was a fun celebration of the new recording as well as a moving testimonial to Tom's depth and talent as a musician and storyteller. Joined by a variety of guest musicians including Bill Toms, Patti Spadaro, Andrea Pearl, and Mark Cholewski, Tom mesmerized the crowd with an intricate tapestry of music ranging from acoustic folk to electric rock. Whether he's playing a quiet acoustic set with his son Jack or blowing the roof off of the club with his band, American Son, Tom's music has a way of authentically capturing the gamut of human experience. Amidst his lyrical stories you'll find joy and contentment; fear and despair; suffering and redemption. Most of all, you'll find hope. . .hope that despite how bleak the world may seem at times, people can and do rise above the darkness! This summer, rather than spending a fortune on U2 tickets, you'd be better off checking out Tom Breiding at your local pub for a few bucks. You won't be disappointed!
Love the site, great info. Good to read about all your success and much more to come! I remember the old days and the beginning of your career as an awesome musician. I was lucky enough to be in a small (very small) part of that. Was a fan then and still am. Your drive and endless goals are inspiring, as is your talent.
Sunday, March 20, 2011 @ 2 PM Tom performs "Steeltowns, Coalfields & the Unbroken Circle" against the renowned Maxo Vanka murals in the sanctuary of St. Nicholas Croatian Catholic Parish in Millvale. Free & open to the public; registrations encouraged by calling 412-487-6316 Option 2 Ext. 3219. this is the perfect backdrop for Tom to share his musical stories of our regions history.

Got an advance copy of Tom's new album, "Beauty in Paradise," this afternoon. Definitely one of his best pieces of work to date! "You Are Here" is my favorite track so far. Tom's talent as a storyteller is unsurpassed! Absolutely beautiful album.
